Student Agreement & Terms
Effective Date: June 2026
Welcome to MANIQUE Academy. We are so excited to have you join us and become part of our student community. These Student Agreement & Terms are designed to ensure that both you and MANIQUE Academy have a clear understanding of our responsibilities and expectations throughout your learning journey.
By purchasing a place on a MANIQUE Academy course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following terms.
1. Booking Your Course
A course place is secured once payment has been successfully received through an approved payment method.
Course places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion.
2. Course Fees and Payments
The course fee includes the training and any inclusions specified on the course sales page.
Payment may be made using approved payment methods available at checkout, including card payments and selected Buy Now Pay Later providers.
Where a payment plan is offered directly by MANIQUE Academy, the student remains responsible for the full course fee.
Failure to maintain agreed payments may result in suspension of course access, training, certification or academy resources until outstanding balances have been settled.
All course fees must be paid in full before certification is issued.
3. Cancellation and Transfers
Students have statutory consumer rights under UK law.
Requests to transfer to another course date may be considered at the discretion of MANIQUE Academy and are subject to availability.
Transfers are not guaranteed.
Failure to attend a booked course without prior agreement may result in the loss of the course place.
MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to charge an administration fee for approved course transfers.
4. Course Changes
Whilst every effort is made to deliver courses as advertised, MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
• Course dates.
• Course content.
• Course schedules.
• Course materials.
• Training locations.
• Course educators where necessary.
Should MANIQUE Academy need to postpone a course, students will be offered an alternative date.
5. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
• Attend training sessions punctually.
• Treat educators, fellow students, models and academy staff with respect.
• Behave professionally throughout the course.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Care for academy equipment and facilities.
MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe, abusive or disruptive.
Removal from a course due to misconduct may result in the loss of course fees.
6. Course Completion
Successful completion of the course requires students to:
• Attend the required practical training sessions.
• Complete all required case studies.
• Demonstrate safe working practices.
• Meet the learning outcomes of the course.
• Ensure all course fees have been paid.
MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to request additional practical work where further development is required.
7. Certification
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course requirements.
Certification may be withheld where:
• Outstanding payments remain.
• Required case studies have not been completed.
• Practical standards have not been met.
• Course requirements remain incomplete.
Successful completion of a course does not guarantee employment or business success.
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials, manuals, online modules, presentations, worksheets, videos and resources remain the intellectual property of MANIQUE Academy.
Students may use these materials for their own learning and professional development only.
Materials must not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, sold or used to deliver training without written permission from MANIQUE Academy.
9. Online Learning and Student Resources
Where online learning materials are provided, students are granted personal access only.
Login details must not be shared.
MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to suspend access where misuse is identified.
10. Photography and Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during training for educational and promotional purposes.
Students may request not to appear in promotional content by notifying MANIQUE Academy in writing.
11. WhatsApp and Student Community
Students may be invited to join academy communication groups.
These spaces are intended to be supportive, respectful and professional.
MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to remove members whose behaviour is inappropriate or disruptive.
12. Health and Safety
Students must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies or circumstances that could affect their participation.
Students agree to follow all health and safety procedures throughout the course.
13. Limitation of Liability
MANIQUE Academy accepts no responsibility for personal belongings brought to training sessions.
Students participate in practical activities at their own risk and agree to follow educator guidance and safety procedures.
Nothing within these terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
14. Force Majeure
MANIQUE Academy shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
Alternative arrangements will be made where reasonably possible.
15. Data Protection
Student information will be collected and processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and MANIQUE Academy's Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
17. Agreement
By purchasing and participating in a MANIQUE Academy course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Student Agreement & Terms.
