Cancellation & Refund Policy

At MANIQUE Academy, we understand that circumstances can change. This policy explains your rights and responsibilities regarding cancellations, transfers and refunds.Our aim is to be fair to both our students and our academy while protecting the quality and availability of our small-group training courses.

1. Booking Your Place

A course place is secured once payment has been successfully processed.

As course places are limited, each booking reserves a dedicated training space and resources for that individual student.

2. Your Right to Cancel

If you purchase a course online or at a distance, you may have cancellation rights under UK consumer legislation.

Where a student requests immediate access to digital course materials, online modules or downloadable resources during any applicable cancellation period, they acknowledge that their cancellation rights may be affected in accordance with UK consumer law.

Nothing within this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

3. Student Cancellations

If you decide not to attend your booked course, you must notify MANIQUE Academy in writing as soon as possible.

Requests to cancel or transfer a booking will be considered individually.

As course places are extremely limited and significant preparation takes place before training begins, refunds cannot be guaranteed once a place has been reserved.

4. Course Transfers

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Students may request to transfer to a future course date.

Transfer requests:

• Must be made in writing.

• Are subject to availability.

• Are not guaranteed.

• May incur an administration fee.

MANIQUE Academy reserves the right to refuse transfer requests where appropriate.

5. Failure to Attend

If a student fails to attend a booked training day without prior agreement, this will be treated as a non-attendance.

Missed training days are not automatically refundable or transferable.

MANIQUE Academy may, at its discretion, offer alternative arrangements where exceptional circumstances exist.

6. Payment Plans and Buy Now Pay Later

Where payment plans or third-party finance providers are used, students remain responsible for fulfilling their financial agreement.

Choosing not to attend the course does not automatically cancel any payment agreement.

Students using third-party providers such as Klarna should refer to the provider's own terms and conditions regarding repayments.

7. Course Materials

Where digital resources, online modules or course materials have been provided, accessed or downloaded, refunds may be reduced or unavailable where permitted by law.Course manuals, digital content and academy resources remain the intellectual property of MANIQUE Academy.

8. Cancellation by MANIQUE Academy

In the unlikely event that MANIQUE Academy needs to postpone or cancel a course due to circumstances beyond our control or operational requirements, students will be offered:

• A place on an alternative course date; or

• Another reasonable solution determined by MANIQUE Academy.

Where appropriate, refunds may be considered. MANIQUE Academy accepts no liability for additional costs incurred by students, including travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.

9. Exceptional Circumstances

We appreciate that emergencies can happen.

Exceptional circumstances such as serious illness, bereavement or other significant unforeseen events will always be considered with compassion and fairness. Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.

Any alternative arrangements remain at the discretion of MANIQUE Academy.

10. Refund Processing

Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.

Refund times may vary depending on the payment provider.

Any third-party payment provider fees or finance agreements remain subject to that provider's own policies.

All cancellation, transfer and refund requests should be made in writing.
